Woolworths Blasters (Ages 5–10) 

 

 📍 Abbett Park, Scarborough
🗓 Friday Afternoons 4.30pm start

Woolworths Cricket Blast is the first step on the Australian Junior Cricket Pathway, designed to introduce children to cricket in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

Junior Blasters (Ages 5–7)

  • Perfect for boys and girls new to cricket.

  • Fun, game-based activities that build fundamental cricket skills.

  • 60-minute sessions.

  • All equipment provided.

Master Blasters (Ages 7–10)

  • For children who have mastered the basics and are ready to play modified games.

  • Focus on skill development in a fun and social environment.

  • 90-minute sessions.

  • All equipment provided.

 

Blasters kits are included with registration and are sent directly to families by Cricket Australia.

Junior Cricket (Year 4–Year 12) 


Junior Cricket is the next step for players ready to enjoy a full cricket season, playing organised matches for their local club while making new friends and developing their skills.

Stage 1 (Ages 9–11)

  • Year 4 & Year 5 Boys – Saturday or Sunday

  • Year 4–5 Girls – Saturday

  • Year 6–7 Girls – Saturday

 

Stage 2 (Ages 12–14)

  • Year 6 & Year 7 Boys – Saturday

  • Year 8–9 Girls – Saturday

 

Stage 3 (Ages 15–17)

  • Year 8 Boys – Saturday

  • Year 9 Boys – Sunday

  • Year 10–11 Boys – Sunday

  • Year 10–12 Girls – Saturday

 

Season starts: 16–18 October 2026
Club Fee: $260
Association Fees: $38.95
What you'll need:

  • Playing equipment is provided by the club.

  • Players will need their own protector box.

  • Players who already own cricket equipment are encourged to use it.

 

👕 Playing Uniform
All new Junior Cricket players will receive a club playing shirt, playing pants and club hat as part of their registration.
Returning players will receive a new shirt and playing pants if required. If your current uniform still fits, we encourage you to reuse it where possible.


Please note: Club hats are provided to new players only.
